ADMINISTRATION
MRS. LACEE JACOBS, PRINCIPAL |
Mount Pleasant families,
I am so excited to be a part of the Mt Pleasant High School community. I look forward to serving our students, staff, and families as I work to uphold the tradition and pride that this school holds. It is my belief that high school is a time for all students to develop as individuals and create a path towards future success, whether through college, the military, or the workforce. It is my goal to make sure every student feels valued, respected, and has the support they need to be prepared for life after high school.
I hold a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, a master's degree from Wake Forest University, and obtained my certification for school administration at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I began my educational career as a school counselor in New Hanover County schools before transitioning to Cabarrus County in 2015. In 2019, I began my administrative career at Northwest Cabarrus High School and was named Assistant Principal of the Year in 2022 before moving into the role of principal at MPHS.
My husband and I have two small children who keep us active. In my free time I love to travel, read, and do anything that keeps me outdoors.
I am so proud to be a part of the MPHS community! Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!
