How do we support students on their way to success after graduation?
The Mount Pleasant High School Library Media Program hosts programs that help students navigate life before and after graduation. We partner with other school staff and departments to ensure students have access to information and skills that prepare them for the future.
Our partnership with the Career and Technical Education department brings speakers, military recruiters, and college and career representatives to meet with students about options following graduation from high school. Partnerships with the SISP team (guidance counselors, school social worker, graduation coach, and MTSS coach) prepare students with skills they need to successfully complete high school and be prepared for college and the workforce.
Students can access several resources online as well. The library has a computer dedicated to exploring resources about enrollment, financial aid, and college entrance tests, as well as providing resources about the ACT WorkKeys assessment.
