MPHS PTSO's will be wrapping up their first Capital Campaign & Fundraising Drive this week. There's still time to scan one of the barcodes in parent drive, throughout the school or click the links on our homepage MPHS PTSO to contribute today! Together we can reach or exceed our $20,000 goal!!!!
Mount Pleasant Players Present “Little Shop of Horrors” on April 24th and 25th at 7:00 and on Saturday, April 26th at 2:00. Tickets are $10 online at OUR.SHOW/MPHSLITTLESHOP and $15 at the door.
DECA will have an interest meeting today after school in Mr. Perkins room B113 at 2:30. If you would like to learn more about DECA for next school year, please join us for refreshments and games!
DUE TO BENCHMARKS, WE WILL HAVE THE CROSS COUNTRY INTEREST MEETING TOMORROW DURING INTERVENTION TIME. MEETING WILL BE IN THE JROTC CLASSROOM (C104).
Students all virtual course requests (CCP, CVA, NCVPS) must be submitted to your counselor by Friday, 4/25. This deadline is set by the district. Contact your counselor if you have any questions.
SENIORS: If you have received any money for college- scholarships, grants, awards (not loans), I need to know! We want to recognize you at Senior Awards Day! Please go to Mount Pleasant High School Home Page> I Want to> Senior Scholarship Form and complete the form for each award you have been offered- even if you don’t plan to accept it! I had 4 more students to report and now we are over $2,000,000 offered!! Class of 2024 reached $6 million. Let’s go 2025!

Seniors: If you plan to major in Marketing, please see Mrs. Dickson by Thursday morning. I may have a scholarship opportunity for you.
Attention Seniors:
If you are interested in enrolling in RCCC for the fall 2025 semester or if you are a current RCCC student, please sign up with Ms. Dickson in guidance by Wednesday, April 23 to be on the list to meet with the RCCC representative. The RCCC staff will be here on Wednesday, April 30 to assist students with applications, financial aid, fall registration, and college engagement.
Any students interested in attending a field trip to Stanly Community College to visit the programs of electrical lineman, plumbing, auto body fabrication, and agri-business, pick up a permission slip with Ms. Dickson this week. Only 44 can attend. Forms need to be turned into Ms. Dickson or slide under Ms. Vaughn's door by Thursday, April 17 before we go out for break.
