FCA this Friday at 6:45am in the main gym! All are welcome to join us for games, a message, and a breakfast snack! We will have Jesus 24/7 t-shirts for purchase for $25 Friday! Can’t wait to see us there!

Juniors and Seniors - If you received a National Technical Honor Society application, please return it to Ms. Vaughn. You can slide it under her door in room B-209 across from Jordan and Felker.  Don't worry about the recommendation letters. Ms. Vaughn will get those from your teachers. Please turn these in as soon as possible, so she can move forward with the application process.

Attention FFA members: Our November chapter meeting will be tomorrow, November 7th after school until 3:15 in the CTE building. Snack on cookies and apple cider while we hear about our fall fundraiser, upcoming contest opportunities, and make cards for our fellow FFA members in Avery County affected by Hurricane Helene.
 
HOSA club will be collecting canned food and non-perishable foods for the Mount Pleasant Food Pantry during the month of November. Please bring it to Mrs. Caviness or place it in the Turkey boxes in the front office

Senior T-shirts will be for sale from now until Wednesday, November 20th for $15.00 each. Shirts will need to be paid for when they are ordered and must be paid for on K12 payment center.  There are QR codes located around the school or see Mrs. Caviness if you have any questions.  The shirts will be back before Christmas.

The Mount Pleasant Winterguard will be hosting auditions for all interested students looking to become a member of this award-winning group for the upcoming winter season starting tomorrow, November 12th, 13th, and 14th.  Auditions will start at 5:00 p.m. and will go until 7:00 p.m. each day.  All audition dates and times are mandatory for auditionees.  Any questions can be directed to Mr. Lee.  We hope that you will consider joining our extremely successful group.  We look forward to meeting you!

This past Saturday, the MPHS Marching Band ended their season with an incredible performance at the 23rd Annual Marching Black Knights Festival of Bands! We are so very proud of each and every one of these students and of course thankful for their directors as well! Their awards are as follows:
1st place Drum Major 
1st place Color Guard 
1st place Percussion 
1st place Marching & Maneuvering 
1st place General Effect 
1st place Music 
1st place Class AAA 
2nd place Class AAA/AAAA/AAAAA
There were 6 bands in their class and 13 bands in the 3 combined classes.  Congratulations
band!

Attention students: MPHS is excited to once again offer a Leadership class.  This course is for students who want to engage in our school community through school spirit activities, leadership opportunities, and volunteer work.  You must apply and be accepted in order to take the course, applications for the spring semester are open now.  You must apply by Nov 8 to be considered.  Please scan the QR codes posted in Student Services or in the commons to access the application. 


Battle of the Books will meet during lunch today.  Grab your lunch and see you in the library!
